Leaders hope online auctions will strengthen neighborhoods, reduce blight

Caddo Parish and the City of Shreveport are taking a new approach to getting adjudicated, blighted properties back on tax rolls— with hopes for at least $250,000 of additional revenue for the area. The agencies are partnering with each other and with CivicSource, a leading online auction marketplace, to offer more than 1,000 adjudicated properties through online auction. READ MORE
